W nocy z 20 na 21 oddziały powstańcze Obwodu Żoliborz i z Kampinosu pod dowództwem mjr. Alfonsa Kotowskiego „Okonia” atakują Dworzec Gdański. Silny ogień wroga załamuje natarcie i uniemożliwia połączenie Starówki z Żoliborzem. Powstańcy ponoszą dotkliwe straty.

On the night of 20/21 insurgent units of the Żoliborz District and of Kampinos under the command of Maj. Alfons Kotowski, "Okon" attacks the Gdańsk Railway Station. Strong enemy fire breaks the attack and prevents the connection of the Old Town with Żoliborz. The insurgents suffer severe losses.
